Innoview is a spin-off of “Ecole Poyltechnique Fédérale de Lausanne” (EPFL) founded by Dr Romain Rossier and Prof. hon. Roger D. Hersch.
Romain Rossier
Romain Rossier is the co-founder and CEO of Innoview. He obtained a master degree (2007) and a PhD (2012) in computer science from Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), Switzerland. He is co-inventor in several US patents. Right after his PhD in 2012, he started as an entrepreneur for developing and further industrializing novel document security technologies for both governmental and brand protection applications.
Roger D. Hersch
Roger D. Hersch is a honorary professor of Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), Switzerland. Together with his former PhD students, he developed novel imaging techniques that are succesfully applied to visual document security. These techniques rely on a profund understanding of color reproduction and of the moiré phenomenon. Now, he helps deploying these technologies onto the market for applications that need to be both secure and visually attractive. He is a Fellow of the Society for Imaging Science and Technology (IS&T), Springfield, USA.
